What do the GLA gene defect Fabry disease and ME/CFS have in common? The symptoms and the large number of people affected.

Frequently occurring variants of the genetic defect are excluded from treatment. They are now concealed in the diagnosis. Patients who received a diagnosis even earlier have now also had their treatment withdrawn.

Fabry patients are also chronically ill and are often just as chronically ignored.
